Beata Music was founded in 1998 to facilitate the use and enjoyment of the music of Randy Cox.

(Some music now sold by Beata was previously published and produced under the name of Randy Cox Music.)

The company's focus is the production and distribution of sacred and secular sheet music and recordings that uplift, inspire, and entertain.

The name Beata (pronounced Bay-aw-tuh) was chosen because of its origin and meaning in Latin:
beo -are,
to bless, enrich, make happy. Hence partic. beatus -a -um, blessed, enriched, happy;
Beata Music seeks to bless, enrich, and bring happiness to the listeners and performers of its music.
