Hinshaw Music has now added Randy's men's arrangement to their existing SATB and women's versions of the Christmas carol.  It can be sung as a four-part, three-part, or two-part men's chorus with piano accompaniment.  The TTBB arrangement was published by Hinshaw in 2007.
Because He First Loved Us   View sample pages (PDF)
Written for a local women's conference of the LDS Church, this original composition is an inspiring setting of the biblical text 1 John chapter 4.  It was written for SSA or vocal solo with piano accompaniment and published by Beata Music in 2007.  The piece bears a strong witness of the Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God and Savior of the world.  It also teaches of the great worth of a soul and motivates the listener to love others with a pure love - because He first loved us.

I'll Go Where You Want Me to Go   View sample pages (PDF)
Another Randy Cox hymn arrangement was released late in 2005. This instrumental solo begins by painting a picture of a soul who wants to serve the Lord in big and grand ways.  It then softens as the first verse begins simply, as the text reads: "It may not be on a mountain height."  The introduction and first verse signify a willingness to serve God, though the task may seem mundane, lowly, or difficult.  The piece blossoms in the second verse as possibilities begin to come to view.  After an interlude that paints a picture of trials and tension, the third verse opens in a grand way and continues with a beautiful final verse and chorus, signifying the glorious knowledge that the Lord loves and has a place for each of us.  Like O My Father, this instrumental solo with piano accompaniment was written to be played by a variety of instruments, including violin, oboe, clarinet, or trumpet, and with additional parts for viola or cello.
Like a Dove Descending   View sample pages (PDF)
This peaceful SATB octavos is set to the piano solo Deux Arabesques by Claude Debussy.  The text is a combination of New Testament verses that teach us how to recognize and appreciate blessings from Heaven that come in gentle, almost imperceptible ways.  The original choral setting by Randy Cox is calming and refreshing.  Like a Dove was published in 2005.
